ADS Software Group introduces Classical Music 1.0 for iPhone/iPod touch

Developed specifically to take advantage of the iPhone’s unique capabilities and interface, Classical Music is an educational database of 50 music compositions of the most famous composers of all time.
Featuring a vinyl record player styled user interface, music aficionados and connoisseurs alike can listen to the most recognizable one-minute passages of famous compositions, view a short biography of each artist, with a link to purchase the full version of the composition from iTunes. Classical Music also includes a nice “Who is the Composer Quiz” game. Additionally, the application offers Openfeint integration for music lovers to see other Classical Music Quiz player’s leaderboard, get achievements and send challenges.

“I have always felt there were remarkable deep-rooted similarities between classical music as compared to rock and roll, or even some pop music,” said Shakhruz Ashirov, founder and CEO of ADS Software Group Inc. “Regrettably, the modern media doesn’t support classical music very well, so a large percentage of the younger audience is never exposed to it. We currently have plans to add up to a 100 compositions, a new music memorizing game, as well as localize the app into major languages and some other features.”
